Dr Aparna Hoskote
is the Specialty Lead for Cardiac Intensive Care at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children NHS Foundation Trust, and Honorary Associate Professor, UCL Institute of Cardiovascular Science, London, UK.
Her research focusses on a theme of neuromonitoring, neuroprotection and neurodevelopmental outcome in children with congenital heart defects and those supported on mechanical circulatory support including ECMO and VAD with the aim to improve patient care, service delivery and ultimately quality of life. Dr Hoskote is a member of the EuroELSO Steering Committee and is also the co-chair of the EuroELSO Working Group on Neurological Monitoring and Outcome.
