Sylvia Belda Hofheinz, MD, PhD

is Head of the PICU and Pediatric Emergency Care Department in the 12 de Octubre Hospital in Madrid, Spain, and an Associate Professor for Pediatrics at the Complutense University in Madrid. She has coordinated the first national programme for neonatal and pediatric Primary ECMO Transport. Her main research interests are centered around ECMO, End of Life care and multiresistance and infection.
